Kevin Puts: The Hours

Présenté pour la première fois au Metropolitan Opera de New York en 2022, l'opéra The Hours de Kevin Puts a été salué par le New York Times comme étant "sincère et persuasif ... fervent ... et lyrique à souhait". Inspiré du film primé de Stephen Daldry, sorti en 2002, et du roman original de Michael Cunningham, The Hours mêle des personnages et des événements de trois périodes différentes du XXe siècle. Avec la participation notamment des chanteuses Joyce DiDonato, Renée Fleming et Kelli O'Hara, et sous la direction de Yannick Nezet-Séguin, "The Hours" propose une approche novatrice d'une histoire intemporelle. "Les luttes des personnages sont universelles, et en les mettant en lumière à travers différentes personnalités et époques, nous espérons que chacun pourra trouver une part de lui-même dans l'histoire", Joyce DiDonato.
